98 FXDL, and boy, do I have questions! 0dd that I join this forum now that our bike season is coming to a close, but now I've got all winter to bone up! Anyway, I bought this bike with only 2600 miles on it. I now have put 6000 of my own miles on it. Guess the collectors value has decreased some, eh? Well, too, bad! This poor bike must have been used for about 260 miles a year for ten years. Now that I'm rolling on it, she and I both are functioning much better. With so few original miles on it, I figure that this is like keeping a car up on blocks in the garage only bringing it out for shows. Well not this baby. This girl and I are going to be racking up miles together for the next 20 years! I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty, too. No HD stealers for me, boy. Maybe independents, but I hope mostly me. At least for maintenance. More major stuff for the shop.
