Hi,
I'm harley4348 and i ride a 2000 softail standard. I already have a couple of questions. First, the cam bearings went out on my bike at 18,000 miles and harley said sorry but your 5 years are up, is there anyone or place that I can contact to get them to fix their messup? Second, does a 1550cc kit really add a good deal of power to your bike? thanks and sorry if i'm long winded.
You'll get some good torque from the cc increase. Dunno if you can do anything to get the moco to replace the bearings. I would take it to a non-dealer for the fix/upgrade (if you cannot do it yourself). No sense throwing money at them when they will not support you.

You will probably get some new cam bearings with the 1550cc kit, so, yeah go with that.
"does a 1550cc kit really add a good deal of power to your bike?" Uhhh, yeah.
