Just got my first motorcycle...2008 Sportster 883L. I've encountered numerous challenges with getting me fitted to my bike. I'm 4'10" and have had the bike lowered front and back, installed the solo-reach seat and now that my feet touch the ground safely - I'm having to change out the stock handle bars to mini-apes so that I can maintain a safer more controlled reach. Curious if they are any other height-challenged riders out there - who can share some of their experiences with me...so that I may have some insight as to what else I can expect...as I enter the world of HD riding.
Lets see,, let some air out of the tires...... Uh 4in boots......Uh Growth Hormones......
Ok, sorry, just having some fun.....been on here for couple hrs and I needed a laugh;;;;
I am 6'10'' and have the opposite problem, my knees hits the handle bars all the time. Noooo, I am not.!!!
Really sounds like U've done bout all there is to do..I really have read about boots that have taller soles and heels.
Congrats on your bike and Welcome to the forum.
