Hey everyone, Just wantng to say I just joined the forum and looking for advice and wisdom. A brief rundown of me I currently own a Yamaha roadstar silverado I purchased 2 years ago after going 4 years without a bike and prior to the roadstar I owned a 883 sportster, flh shovelhead and a wideglide shovelhead. All at different times. I purchased the yamaha cause my best friend had one and I rode it and thought "Ya I could be happy with this over a Harley". Now two years later and ALOT of money in a Yamaha IT STILL IS NOT A HARLEY! Not bashing Yamaha But I Have alot more tied up in it ($) than I can get out of it. So I am settling for the loss and much more wisdom now (And My best friend is wiser too). I can't purchase another bike until my truck is payed off in 3 Years (Can't afford 2 payments and a woman) which gives me time to save on top of the money I pull out of the roadstar sale And wanting to learn as much as I can before my next purchase since my last HD was a Shovelhead, I want to ask as many questions as possible and any replys will be much appreciated. I want a springer softail Maybe a classic so pretty set on a springer. Oh ya to, I suppose I am a "kid" still, I turn 31 next month! Not bad 4 road bikes and 3 were harleys and I have already rode to sturgis. I think I have much potential. LOL! thanks again.
