Just wanted to say hi. I don't have a bike yet, but that's why I'm year. I'm looking to purchase my first bike early next year, I hear that's the best time to buy. I'm not a big guy. 5'9" 160lbs. Do you guys recomend an 883, 1200 or 1500 for a first bike? Do the RK's and the like really look at the Sportster as a girl bike? One guy I know that rides a RK told me a 1500 would be perfect for me, I was like holy **** really? and another told me that a Sporty would be great. Help me out please, need some direction.
Dont think a sporty would be too small for ya.. someone 6' and over maybe....

Welcome to the forum from Indy! I hope you enjoy it here as much as I have. Be sure to take a MSF course to get started off right. I don't look at ANY bike and make a judgment. We are all part of a great and wide open sport!
i'm 5'6" and i thought a sporty would be good for me back in 05. So i bought a 2005 1200C. Then in 06 I bought my second bike a 2006 NT. Do it right the first time. Get what you like and have fun. good luck
