Just went for a scoot to tryout new V&H slip ons. Very pleased with the sound. When idling they are quite tame, when throttle is opened cagers can hear you coming. Perfect sound for me, nice low rumble. Thanks to everyone who posted about these pipes.
Welcome from So-Cal. You have come to the right place. Your best best is to go somewhere and listen to bikes with various pipes on them to get a feel for what type of sound you are after. there are countless videos on youtube, however it is difficult to capture the real sound of the pipes in a video. Try the dealer or a local biker hangout if it is not winter where you live.
