Got a completely stock '08 Road King and thinkin' about changing the stock pipes. So many choices . Want the Harley rumble but not the crack of straight pipes......Don't know where to start .
One Choice for slip-ons is Rush, they are Deep and throaty. Not the best performance system but will give U a little more Tq and usually 5 or more Hp.
Can't beat any 2-1 system if Ur looking for top performance, D&D's, ThunderHeader, V&H's or RhineHarts and SupperTrapps are among the top for the best numbers.
I love the Rush I have and chose to keep them even when I put in the cams.
mellow while crusing with a good rumble yet they will be what U like while accelerating and really sound off when U open it up.
Congrats on your bike. Always good to add another member to HDF. Welcome aboard the best Harley forum.
