I've been lurking around this board for a couple of weeks now, and just felt it was time to jump in and get wet. Guess theres no need for names, but most call me Devo for short. As far as bikes go I'm a newb never had much interest in them, but I guess I just caught the "BUG". Call it a mid-life crisis if you must, but I'm determined to be riding in the next couple of months.
After all the time lurking I've deciding that the street glide is the one for me. Been to the dealer a couple of times and decided I should wait on the "07's" coming next week. I've already registered for the MSF course and am borrowing a friends bike to get some practice. I've been told that you should get a begginer bike to start off with but to me it just seems like a waste.
Thx, thats what I thought. I doubt if I can get full price back for whatever I get as a training bike so must as well get what I want. I think after I finish the MSF course I'll rent a couple from my local dealer to see how they feel.
