Hello, my name is Charlie Just now i stay in foggy, icy, cold Scotland and I am a member of HDRCGB club. My bike is 2002 carbed fatboy, had the the bike for 6 years and have no plans of changing it, I love it to bits.
Its cold enough way down here in the South West (although to my amazement I did manage a very short ride yesterday for the first time in ages) so I dread to think whats its like up there. I grew up in Yorkshire and well remember the snow drifts and icy weather which was an experience on a bike. But I was young and imortal in those days and the old joints didn't ache quite so much.

John, you got it in one. When young and imortal. Due to a few bike slides in years gone by the old knees are a bit chipped so the cold weather kills them so bike is away for winter.
How can we not have some of the weather the Lads down in SC have. The thought of warm sunshine brill.
