I wouldn't get rid of the Road King, especially if you have been keeping up with the maintenance. I went from a Heritage to a RKC and I could not see myself going back to a softail.

Yea, the bike has been maintained well, I switched over to synthetic motor oil when I bought her and really have had to do very little repair... Master cylinder, front rotor & brakes. May have to replace clutch cable before long. But what do you expect for a 1998 scoot I guess huh.....

That older EVO will run many many more miles. It should be good well over 100,000 miles with good upkeep.
