Beezy, about that old Flathead. I sold it for $700 in good running condition in the late '70's. I had parked it after getting newer bikes. I tried to sell it for $1200 for a long time and got no takers. At the time nobody wanted it.
racerdj and oct1949, I have camped with the INDYRATS group at Mid Ohio Vintage Days in 2008 and 2007, great bunch of Triumph riders from Indianna I still subscribe to their email list. They are a very active riding group and a great bunch of guys and girls.
rjmac53, I was in your area in 2002. I had a Guzzi and went to the Guzzi rally in Arcadia. Stopped in at the Bonnie and Clyde museum in Gibsland, then saw the marker where they met their fate. Then I rode down to NOLA and a girlfriend flew in from StPete and we spent a few days in the French Quarter but thats another story. Then I followed the Gulf Coast back through Fl. and Ga. making a circle. Great ride, great food and great people in La.
pierrat, I was in ABATE about 30years ago and participated in the helmet law protest rides back then. I had my picture in the "In the Wind " magazine sitting on the State house steps with my riding buddies one time.
