Welcome from Italy, I had also bought a FAT BOY LO and I prefer it with the original bar.

I have a 2010 Fat Boy Lo also-posted the handlebar question on a forum here- almost all replies were for the apes-one for drag bars- I am going with 10" mini apes on mine- I have a windshield and would suggest putting one on. My next decision is whether or not to go with an engine guard-not seen too many FB's with them-would be nice on long rides

Welcome fronm another noob. My Lo gets delivered a day after xmas but I am still stuck in this here in the middle east till may. I am did sit one with some 14" apes while on R&R and it was pretty comfortable, but like the others say it really is a personal choice. Have fun with the new sled, I cant wait to catch some wind myself...

Good advice. Beins that you rode sport bikes a drag bar set-up would most likely be the feel you would like, but try out both styles, you may be surprized. Welcome to the forum from NW Ohio..
