Hello all I'm Dave, Ive been hangin around here for a few months now, figured I should introduce myself here first quick if I want to start posting elsewhere.
- I found this site a few months back while searching online for used parts for my bike.
needless to say I stumbled across much more than I expected and I am VERY pleased.
-I am proud owner of my first Harley as of this past may '09, after many years of dreaming and riding bikes which kept me happy for the time and the dream alive.
I have an '07 deluxe w/ a few extras..love the nostalgia of the bike which originally attracted me to her, and many plans ahead =)
-had hopes of customizing w/ hard bags and fairing before spring but not going to happen (michigan economy is **** to say the least and very unpredictable and i just cant afford to do anything aside from gas and oil for now)
- i do love my bike but for practicality reasons and from experience ive gained since I purchased the softail I kinda wish I financed a little more and went with a street glide lol; but anyhow-
i got some spring fever goin and GAH i cant wait to get some warmth from the sun and ride and ride and ride and ride..=)
Thanks to everyone for this website. this is an amazing community and resource we are very fortunate to have at our fingertips!
