looking to buy either soft tail heritage deluxe or touring bike??? any thoughts on which is best
welcome from Raleigh
EVERY bike is the "best".... it just might not be the best for YOU....
WHO???? Are you? how much experience? what sort of riding do you do/want to do?
go to every showroom, of every brand, sit on all of the bikes, demo what you can, and then decide based on how you feel..... not what a faceless stranger on some forum "told you"
Scientific studies have shown that softails are best. Softails are proven to lower cholesterol, boost your immune system and grow hair on your toes. Conversly, the so-called "touring models" contribute to global warming and are the preferred ride of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il and his evil minions.
Just to be on the safe side, I'd choose the softail.
Its all about what look U like, what Ur riding habits are and what fits U better.. course with enough money U can make any one fit U if U buy one that don't.
Just read in here for a while, it happens all the time...Ergonomics of the bike is what comfort is all about. and each one is different. only U will know what fits and feels right
We love the leather look, windshield, bags. We don't do extended overnight trips, usually ride 3-4hrs daily, if its not raining during our 5 months of good riding weather here in Indiana. But still if we wanted to take long trips, a Heritage would still do it in style and comfort for us. Thats why we choose it.
Just like buying a car, not one of them is the best. U just have to get which one fits Ur needs
So its the same when buying a bike,, what do U like and need in or out of Ur bike.
Riding each one will let U know about the comfort and fit, U heart will tell U which one looks the best.
After weighting all the info, all the +'s and -'s, Then only U can make the call.
Welcome to the forum. Hope U have a great summer
and safe riding when U get one.
