Thank you thank you thank you Chance! This does clarify a lot. He is saying the ESP is $ 1349, T & W $ 599, and GAP $ 749...way too high if you ask me...I think I am going to call around some tomorrow. Thanks again for that VERY useful info!
You will receive a 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty on your 2010...
Here were the prices for the ESP / ESP+ Tire and Wheel option (from a brochure provided me in October):
The brochure was confusing at first to me because they list one year's ESP as "3 years" but they are including the 2 year factory warranty into that total... So be very clear how many additional years he is selling you above the original 2 years you get with the bike...
Again these prices listed above are from a HD brochure... I have read in numerous threads here that these prices are negotiable in some dealerships... It makes no difference where you buy it... The ESP will be honored at any HD dealership...
Hello and welcome from Anchorage, Alaska
I did not purchase the extended plan. I might before the 24 month expires but I have plenty of time to shop around.
When I bought my bike they tried to get to buy the extended crap, And I asked them if I go home and pull this apart and change the exhaust and rejet will it void the warranty and he said that if I did any of the work myself it voids all warranties. So I told them where they could shove the warranty. I dont think that they can keep your money if you dont go with them. I would check that out. If you can get the same bike cheaper then I would go there why pay more then you have to.
if you are not feeling right about this whole situation it wouldn't hart to do a litttle
shopping around at thos toher dealerships. also take someone along who has had this
expeience. don't make a deal you are not feeling right about. follow your instincts.

First off.. If you dont feel right.... walk... Remember YOUR the customer.
Im sure there are other dealers who will answer ALL your questions, and if you buying a new bike... dont be afraid to ask..."" what will you throw in""?
After all they are called.... ""DEALERS""... They make ZERO if you walk out that door and buy somewhere else. Never feel like your part of a assembly line and you get pushed thru each office till you sign your name on a paper.
Just my two cents !
Good luck in your search & hello from the garden state.
