Vibration concern
I have an 08 Sportster 1200 XL which I purchased used. At the time of purchase it had 1400 miles it now has 2000. I have noticed a vibration at 50 mph in 4th gear and 60mph in 5th gear. Before and beyond those speeds in those gears is relatively smooth. I'm thinking it is RPM related but I don't notice it so much in lower gears. I'm thinking this is may be because you go through the RPM range much quicker at lower gear ratios and so it is not so noticable. I'm going to take it into the dealer to have it check out but would like to get some input from others who may have had the same experience or is the norm for a Sportster?

Maybe its the motor,, is it solid or rubber..?????
