Think of this way...
You would just be sitting in your garage drowling!

Yeah, that's what my friends keep telling me too, hehehe... I think they're getting sick of me talking about the bike non-stop. Looks like it's going to be a long winter for THEM as well! Hehehe...
Clammy,
A couple years ago I did the same thing!
Now they one of them is waiting for his Softail to arrive and driving me nuts!
Ahhh.. aonly another two months or so!
I feel the same about California!
Although I love going to Texas - No helmet law!

I LOVE Cali! I've been there a few times (L.A., San Diego, Anaheim, Bakersfield, etc...). Never on a bike though. I'll be going to Anaheim in January... but again, unfortunately, I won't be riding...
I was also in San Antonio in June, and it was HUMID! Out of nowhere this insanely huge thunderstorm came in and must have dumped 10 inches of rain in about an hour! Texas was cool despite that though!
Oh, and I was in New Hampshire last year, and I remember seeing lidless riders, which you NEVER see up here. It was cool! Although seeing guys on crotch rockets without lids sure looked wrong, hehehe...
Welcome aboard Clammy. Your very cool pic leaves me pondering if the band you are in plays originals or covers. What type of music do you guys play? Gotta be Pantera or likewise by the looks of that AXE! I can't believe you don't ride a sled in Canada during the winter. I live in Maine and it is great to hop on my ZR 900 and rip through the trails. Sure helps with the blues of not being able to ride my bike. Post pics of your ride!
