Hello from good ol Germany!

Just checkin in!

Bought a 71 FX last Friday. It's my first Harley, so I'm soaking up information like a sponge.

My last bike was a 78 Yamaha XS400 that I built up as a cafe racer and saved from ther shredder, although I'm sure alot of people would have rather gone for the shredder option.......

Can't wait to see how the Shovel turns out!

Thats a nice looking bike. Although personally, I think I would need rather more padding on the saddle to undertake rides of any decent length.

That's true, the saddle is on my list of things that need to be sorted, along with the rear fender and poorly fitted fender struts.

Welome to the forum, what part of Germany are you in? I did my time in Germany after I got my "greeting" letter from Dicky Nixon. Was stationed in Bad Kissingen.(72-74)
