I just got back into riding last August and cant tell you how much we enjoy it. We bought a 2008 SG and been non stop except for the weather. I notice that there was a few guys that we ride with were a little faster then us so I used this site for information on how to up grade to a 103. I really appreciate all the help that Evey one on the site give me.
most guys just take around $3,000-$3500 to the dealer and tell them to put in a 103 BB kit
with some kind of F/M system and new pipes.. If want to go even a little faster than that then do the heads also...but add another $500-$800..
Then U'll be able to outrun most of them...
If U do it in the winter U'll save some $$$ as most dealers have winter specials, to keep the wrenches busy in the off season....
Ride safe and have a great spring.
Nice to have you aboard HDF,
