I finally took the plunge after 10 years of putting it off. I got a 2006 Road King Classic, deep Cobalt and Silver. I really liked the Dragonfly Green but looked for one too late. I rode dirt for 30 or so years, racing and building engines. Wrenched for 20 yrs, mostly 2 cycle though... Marine, Snowmobiles and bikes.
I didn't have alot of street experience, in the mid 80's I took a few spins on a friends XR1000 (awesome bike) and a Kawasaki 900. The first night that I left the dealer I thought the bike was a big monster but now after a few months it feels quite nimble. I'll post my injector saga in the Bagger section, not really a saga... it turned out OK.
Pics will follow when I have time. George
