well after finding out the kit i ordered was out of stock i ended up ordering individual pieces to start my fairingless conversion and they arrived today except the windshield and bracket so i'm going to get started taking things apart and putting on the nacelle and lightbar and all that jazz on sunday after work hopefully i will have pics to put up on monday of my progress. i still have to drill some holes in the rear fender to mount the '98 roadking seat to the bike and find something to cover the gap between the bottom of the dash and the seat nose about 4" worth i'm thinking some leather and 3m trim tape (?) other than that the seat fit prety good still have not decided if i want to put the pass pillon on or get a fender bib and rock the solo seat (big rub mark on fender from origional seat) the roadking seat lets me sit lower and a little farther back so the seating is way more comfortable (before i was sitting like 1/3 of the way on top of the tank) all in all i have bought all my conversion parts seat and a little left over for an oem battery and some oil and plugs for the spring tune up from the parts i took off and sold on ebay. now just to get her buttoned up and ride.
