I just joined today and am happy to be here. I own a 2003 Sportster 1200 xlh, and a 2005 Softail Standard FXST. I love both my bikes and enjoy them as much as I can. I usually ride them whenever the weather allows and love to work on them and customize as much as the wallet can handle. Lately I ride the FXST practically all the time since it is my newest baby, but I still take my Sporty out on the road once in a while so she don't feel so neglected. The sporty is still very fun to ride, for short distances that is. My Softail has been customized and I will post pictures very soon I love the way she handles, I just took her out on the Pacific Coastal Highway route1 a week ago for about 475 miles and I enjoyed every minute of the ride except coming home and getting sprayed by a cropduster. I hope to talk to you all. Keep the rubber side down!
Glad you found us. Looking forward to those pics when you get them up. Never been sprayed by a crop duster, they work pretty hard here through the nights...they are fun to watch work though.
Yeah, we were coming home that night from the coast and we were admiring the cropduster until the wind pushed a misty cloud from the field into the highway. It was like riding through fog. My eyes were burning really bad, it was no fun ordeal. My wife flushed my eyes for about a half hour as soon as we could stop.
