Greetings
First time post. I know I'm gonna need help. With my Harley too. Old guy (in the 60s, from the 60s, 60-60 vision
), got tired of sporty, got an evo '96 Road King, couple thousand nice miles, only fuel injected, figured, so what, started to upgrade, all good on paper, cam, pipes, cleaner, Dobeck tooner, only, ooops, the MM curse raised it's ugly head, got a demon haunted non runner.
From Northern Minnesota where the riding season is about five minutes.
Been bikeless for two weeks. Ain't goin to no dealer and hear how I need a "late model". I can talk the talk a little, have twenty thumbs when it comes to wrenches, but got more guts than sense.
What am I gonna do. Rip out the efi, do a Mikuni, Hi Flow, slip ons, cam (EV13) and hold my breath. Local indy putting it together. Smell of burnt bills in my nostrils. Ordering parts this week.
Never used those smilies before, but I just started texting this month too. Wish me luck. See you at the evo forum.
