I have been riding h.d.s for 30 years. . But this 06 ultra has the worst seat(ride) i have ever had. Others have riden this bike also,in 20 miles they want thier bike back.I called H.D. Mil,Wi. They told me I was the only one to conplain, and maybe buy a new seat I spent $22,000. plus on Harley's altmeant ride cruiser. Now to spend a couple 3-4 hundred more for a BETTER seat.I'd like to hear form others than have the same problem, and call H.D.Other than ilike the bike.

If you want the ultimate cruiser, get a honda goldwing. I agree about the money thing, but something's only worth what someone is willing to pay. Maybe you just got punk'd..............by yourself!
I agree, the stock seat on my Ultra sucked also. I put a HD Deep Bucket on - I like it alot. The passenger seat is narrower and the wife likes the stock seat better. I have read that many times the the passenger does not like it that muck. I am the long distance rider so I won.
That new seat and the PCIII I put on are the only critical things I had to add to my 06 UC. In the shop for a new back tire. I put 11,000 miles on it in 8 months. REALLY like the power the PCIII added. Richened it up a bit and cooled it way down. Now I can sit on it at a light. Used to run hot as hell. I also have the Screaming Eagle II's pipes and Air cleaner. That with the PCIII added 10 HP.
Good luck with yours. I love mine and welcome to this forum. Many helpful people. Many things you can learn about a Harley that Harley won't tell you.
