Between the 'local' dealers (Patriot, Groves, Frederick, Whitts, Gettysburg), and I didn't purchase a bike from any of them - I prefer dealing with Groves in Winchester & Battlefield in Gettysburg.
I've actually heard some good things about Winchester. I'll have to make a trip down there before we make our purchase.
Not that you wanna wait that long, but if you can/do - Winchester will have their 2011 Demo Day on Aug 28th.
Is there much of a price difference between the dealers, or is it mainly just the service department that is the difference for you?

All dealers are trying to sell ice to eskimos. Luckily, there's a lot of 'ice' in this area. Take your time and check out different dealers. The purchase of the machine is only 1 part of the dealer experience. Get a feel for the different depts as you visit each one. I've never had service done by Gettysburg - but they are my favorite and I'd give them my business when the day comes for a new ride.

Thats good to keep in mind.
August 1st is the last day of our MSF class at Nova. We'll be on vacation Mid-August, so pretty much the weekend of Aug 8th and Aug 28th are the only two weekends in August we will even have the opportunity to buy a bike after the class.
I'm not sure i'd want to buy a bike and then go out of town for the next two weekends and let it just collect dust in the garage. That seems sorta like anti-exciting.
There is a really high probability we will be at the demo days checking them out.
Thanks for the heads up, I didn't even know they were doing it then.
