'ello from England
Didn't know what to call myself, all my biker friends call me bambam so I just used that

Currently own a Triumph Sprint ST 955i, but it will be leaving me shortly when my 2008 Fat Bob joins me!
Put a down-payment on it last week so just waiting for some things to clear and I can go pick 'er up
I actually test rode the FXDF when they first came out, it was the first Harley I ever rode and since then I have ridden various other models
(04 Dyna SuperGlyde Custom, 2001 XL1200, 2009 VRSCA Night Rod, 2010 FXDWG)
All were nice bikes but didn't really speak to me, so when the time came to make the move to Cruisers I test rode a **** load of them back to back
Rocket III, Thunderbird 1600, Night Rod, all of them were great and tested them from A1 motor in York
I decided that the Rocket III was too big for every-day usage even though I am a mountain of a man myself, also it's too big for my garage and the insurance was waaaaaaaaaay to expensive!
The Night Rod was awesome, but didn't really sound like a harley...
so it seemed like the Thunderbird would be the one
HOWEVER - on the off chance that I took, I paid a random visit to the dealer again, and there it was, sitting in all its glossy black chrome glory
A 2008 FXDF Fat Bob, with 4,200 miles and Khrome Weks slip ons.
Well I thought to myself "go on, test ride it, might as well!"
took me till I had to start "heading back" to fall back in love with the beastie again
So I shoved a payment in his hand and said "i'll take it"
Awesome

So when I get it I plan to finish the stage 1 tuning by adding a Corsair high flower air filter and some XiED leads to sort the fueling out, also tampering with the idea of adding some Vance and Heins Short shots... but not so sure they will add any more power over the slip ons?
Anyway, I signed up because every time I had a question to ask about Harley this forum always sprouted up with the answer
cheers!
