It's been 6 years, I only remember ordering the apes through Harley and they installed them, probably not made by them. In my one conversation on the phone with them they already hinted that this would be "their," (who ever made the apes) fault. But that to me is bullshit, they put them on. We'll see.

Hello back to everyone and thank you for saying hello and some input. Yes I guess I had an angel with me. I had just come to some traffic at the bridge and was only doing 5mph when it went down. Hate to think about if they came off a few seconds earlier at 60mph. I'll try and get some before and after pics up soon. I'm not the bragging type but this bike was coming out quite special. Good day to all and ride safe.

Hi Houston. Your the only one so far who has heard of this so I have to ask; Do you know the outcome? Hopefully the guy was ok and what I mean by "outcome" is did they do the right thing and fix his bike?
