Hi - this is Mike
Lately I've been good about keeping my New Year's Resolutions. For 2009 it was to get divorced. Done. For 2010 it was to learn to ride a motorcycle. In April I took the Rider's Edge course at my local Harley store, and I've been averaging 1000 miles ever month since!
I decided to start small, inexpensive, and smart. Not being sure I was going to love riding a motorcycle I didn't want to spend a million dollars. Also, knowing it was a "starter Harley", if I liked riding enough, I'd probably move up to a bigger bike thereafter. So I bought a brand new Sporty Iron 883. Love it! Have customized the crap out of it as you can see below. Most of all I enjoy how it handles the twisty and turny backroads of Baltimore county, and I REALLY enjoy leaving all my big twin riding buddies in the dust. (till we get on the highway).
So the other day I bought an '08 Softail Rocker! Haven't taken delivery quite yet, but trying to decide which bike to ride will be a good problem to have. No more wife, no more mortgage, never was any kids, hell she even kept the dog. Two bikes, why the f' not!? Right? Thanks for letting me introduce myself. See you around.
