Ipod module install.

Has anyone installed the Boom Audio Ipod module on an 09-10 Street glide? I have the module but am waiting on the extra harness it says is required. Just wondering if anyone has installed the module and if the harness is really required or can be installed without the additional harness......save some cash if you know what I mean

Judging by what I've read (the instructions that is) the main plug on the back of the radio has to be repined and the other plugs just plug into the exsisting harness ......does the plug on the new harness(main one on radio) need to be repined as well? If so whats the point of the new harness other than to install CB, Intercom and XM radio if you still have to repin the main radio plug?
