Default New guy here in NJ
Hi everyone. Selling my sportster and came across this place in search of an answer to the question..."How many miles are reasonable to expect to get out of an 88B?" I'm soon to be in search of a 2000 or up heritage classic and I'm seeing alot of bikes with 25,000 miles on them and up. Should I be afraid of this kind of mileage?

Bob, I have a 2000 Heritage Softail Classic and it has 25700 on it . But I don`t get to ride it too much . If they take care of it , you should have no worries. Its a sound machine ,its a Harley ! Good luck on your quest !

Thanks, all! Good to be here. I was up for hours on this site and others. I've seen in a few places that these motors were designed for 100,000 miles so we'll see! I'll post pics in the spring hopefully!
