New to this forum thing and from what I've been reading here looks like some knowledgable people here.....Any how , I'm riding a 00'RK stage 2 95" kit, 203's with a 2-1 Thunderheader, About to have it Dyno'ed and was looking for advice and or recomendations on a good RT with my Magneti Marelli ECM [sm=confused06.gif]?
Good scoot.... Did you have your cam bearings replaced Yet??????
I had a 00 FLHTCi, and they went south @ 24k... trashed the pinion, so I got a set of wheels out of HD as well.....
But enough of that.....
I have used the SERT for MM on a few bikes with great results... as long as it is the OE induction module....
Easy to operate, and it has all the same features as the Delphi SERT, just a little bit different set-up (Instead of Throttle Pos, you use blade angle degrees)....
Another alternative is the PC (PowerCommander)..... Same type of tuneability, but no Data Mode, and it is an inline modem to the ECM/Sensors-actuators....
Yep ,Had them replaced (under the recall ,that HD forgets to let people know about) But it turned out mine were the upgraded bearings with my stage 2 kit, but by the time they replaced them it was too late , so I have new anyway(after 28K)
Not to up on the whole tuning parameters yet but my local HD shop seems to be well trained and knowledgeable with the whole dyno tuning thing ? They gave me another option rather then the SERT, aftermarket D-link or something ? Half the price and they have had good results with it ? Heard of it ?
