I just signed up a few minutes ago and I'm looking forward to being here. It looks like a lot of activity!
I'm from either GA or FL, depending on when you catch me-but we're trying to get retired and just make it FL!
I have an '03 Anniversary paint Fatboy (swapped out the tins to black and put away the Anniversary sheetmetal). It's basically stock with a stage I remap to go with the Python II's and the high flow AF. It's pretty well sorted out by now but what got me to join is that I just got an '11 Dyna Superglide and man, I've got a bunch of questions. When I get it like I want it my plan is to leave one at each place.
I'll be asking a bunch of dumb questions and I apologize in advance. Most of these will be the result of the recent Supergilde acquisition. I've never owned any vehicle as long as the fattie. Never. I have really come to love the bike and wouldn't change a thing on her. So I was thinking that I'd get a late model used big twin to keep in FL, kind of a generic thing you know-sort of like a refrigerator. One thing led to another and I soon discovered I could get a new Dyna for less than a grand more than a nice used one, so here I am. And after a whopping 110 miles, I'm crazy about this Supergide too. Can't even decide which one stays and which one goes.
So please bear with me as I try to learn a little.
