New Here!!
I just joined. I now have from my brother, a 1973 FX. Took some time to get it running again. Has not run since 2003. Has a lot of work to be done. The picture is in project stages. The carb isn't right but it runs damn good. Uses an OLD Linkert DC-6. Third speedo, NO leaks, no smoke and is an original owner relic. Motor was custom built by Hals in 1973. My brother rode with the CLUB many years back. That's the past!! Anyway, I'll be posting a few questions and hope I can get some good advice. I have been riding motorcycles since 1963. My first motorcycle was a 1960 Sportster and had many since then. I like old school. The bike is a blast to ride. Especially with the 8" over front end and the STROKED motor. It is good to get back into the seat again!!!
