Just Bought First Harley
I've been looking, reading a shopping for a while and bought my first Harley three days ago. It's a 2005 FLHTI that is loaded with HD brand chrome, chrome spokes and wide white walls. It also has a high dollar Kenwood stereo system with eight speakers and a 600 watt amp mounted in the bottom of one of the bags. It came with two seats, the standard Electra Glide seat and a low profile Bandlander. Also two windshields, the 15 in touring windshield and the low black one in the picture. Add a pair of Vance & Hines with changeable baffles. Smoked wind deflectors on the lower fairing and chrome deflectors on the forks. How excited am I permitted to be at my age?
Since I recently had major back surgery two friends went with me to check it out and test ride it for me. Although medically I shouldn't have, I did ride it about ten miles today. Now I get to polish and prep it for spring when I'll be able to put some miles on it. (only 10600 so far)
I keep asking myself, "What took you so long?"
