Started riding when I was 14, rode off and on the rest of my adult life but got bitten by the Dragboat Bug and haven't ridden for the last 15 years other than a couple of Mini-Choppers for running around the lake.
Bought my first Harley last week, '92 FXLR. Neighbor had it and I had been keeping my eye on it for quite awhile. He is one of those people whose hobby is to buy something, fix it up and sell it. Well, this one he kept for a couple of years but only put 600 miles on it after he finished (?) it. Winter coming on and he was ready to put the money into something a little more marketable(Golf Carts that he adds lift kits, paints,ETC.) Timing worked out and "Dollar Bill" and I worked out a deal and I got to fulfill a long time dream.
I'm mostly a Lurker on forums because there always seems to be plenty of experts around so you won't see much of me unless I have a really specific Question that I can't find an answer to. Thanks in advance for any answers I may have to dumb questions but please don't match them with dumb answers.
