Hi from MI
Hey all. Been lurking around for quite some time while I have been trying to figure out what bike I'm going to eventually get. Haven't had a bike in about 10 years and my last one was a Honda shadow. I've always wanted a Harley but could never afford it (hence the Honda). I've been saving up for many years now and am in a better place financially so my daydreams are starting to become actual plans. Now I just need to figure out which direction I want to go. I eventually would like an Electra Glide or Road King but was thinking about going with a Dyna in the short term. It would be a little more manageable while I relearn to ride again and has the added benefit of being awesome in it's own right. Plus, the wife really wants to learn to ride and it would be much easier for her to learn on a Dyna and then she could have it and I would be "forced" to buy one of the "big boys". What do y'all think of the plan? Well, it's just a thought. Anyway, just wanted to say howdy.

Welcome fellow Michigan rider, Whatever you get, after so many years off the bike you might consider signing up for the MSF experienced rider cource and the Basic rider cource for the wife, or you could take the BRC together, either way good luck and enjoy the ride
