Thanks for the kind words on the new scout, I look forward to becoming part of the forum.
This is my 3rd ride and first harley, I remember alot of folks saying that there really is not much differance between a Harley ride and other brands, Boy are they wrong ! What a differance , from not only the ride, but I am most impressed with the braking. I am one happy old guy
Also to answer your question, I am an Ex Fire Chief here in North Jersey. Thirty years of firefighting service and now I am dedicating more of my time to riding and just enjoying it all.
