I got rid of my Metric Cruiser and got a 2008 FLHRC last September. I'm a working schmo so I couldn't afford a brand new one but I shopped around and got the most bang for my buck...I think.
Since it was mid-Sept. I still had a couple of months before the cold weather set in so I put a few miles under my belt before the bike was put to bed for the winter. I've got a couple of all day rides planned for this spring (remember, I work so I can't go for too long) and one or two tours set up for the warmer weather (The Grand Circle and/or Eastern Sierras). A really nice day ride is from Ely, NV to Eureka, NV with the destination at "The Owl Club" for one of their grease dripping cheese burgers served with real pickels and huge fries. Just mayo, salt and pepper for me please. Another two months to go!
However, I'm having a bad experience with HD and if it doesn't get cleared up real quick I'm contemplating on going back to a Metric. I'd rather not but I'll do what I think is best. (See my post under General HD on this forum).
Dude, how many different posts are you gonna whine about this? I'd say don't let the door hit ya' where the Lord split ya'....and btw...leave your 'nads on the Hog seat (where they belong). Just sayin'...
