w is a army 45,x is special model ea.xl,fx,fxr..wg is a wideglide..pretty sure wxg is just gibberish..fxwg maybe= a fx/super glide with a wg/wideglidefront end..aka a wideglide..or in 86 it would be a fxdwg=dyna wideglide..take the vin to a dealer,they will be able to tell you a lot about the bike..

Run the vin number .... it will give you info on the scooter ... BUT .... if you buy it, buy it because it is in good shape and runs well .... not because there were only "X" amount built. That wont' be any comfort sittin' on the side of the road! Good Luck!
