Welcome from the Windy City. Don't let the weight bother you, just like age, it's only a number. The balance is the important issue, one of the brands I sell is Triumph. I gladly move a 730lb Rocket lll before a 500lb Tiger around the store. Adventure tourers like the Tiger are very top-heavy, cruisers and heavy tourers have the mass concentrated low and forward of center. Easier to maneuver. D-Kay
