Default Hand Grip replacement
Got some custom grips to replace stock 2005 RK Custom grips. But discovered i need a throttle sleeve. Can i just cut the rubber off the stock throttle grip and glue the custom grip on the stock sleeve?

Not if you have the electronic throttle control...it's one unit & there are plastic gears that mate to run the control. Don't think I'd mess w/it...JMO.

Welcome from Virginia...Some one will come along with an answer. I would not do it. Certain things I would use as engineered and this is one of them.

Not E-Throttle. So you'd recommend buying a new sleeve or grips with sleeve built in
