Hello from the Bluegrass State! I'm a new Harley-owner, having bought a 2011 Wide Glide in April. I finally gave in to the pressure that my Dad and two brothers were putting on me, after they had all purchased new Harleys over the past year. After riding my WG the first time, I was hooked, and now I wish I'd done it long ago! I'm an 18-year veteran of the Kentucky State Police, where I'm currently serving under the Executive Protection Detail after 17 long years on the road. As an Accident Reconstructionist for over fifteen years, I worked many fatal or bad motorcycle crashes, and I guess that delayed my entrance into the world of Riders, but it was often stupidity that caused most of them. I'm just learning about everything Harley, and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has a Wide Glide, or who just wants to say hello.
