Well well, what a difference a month makes. After almost daily talks with my wife over the past month she has finally agreed to me getting a bike. I found a 2005 Sportster 1200 Custom this weekend and bought it. I'll be picking it up this Thursday. I feel like a kid waiting for Santa. Can't wait to get it and start riding.

Try to get your wife to take the corse with you it will be good for her to know what goes on while riding it might help her get over the negitive aspect
She will learn about leaning with you and how important it is to become one with you and how to pay attension for quick stops
I know this First Bike be carefull dont get stupid unless you want to then mount a SALT & PEPPER SHAKER infront of you it makes the bumper taste better (That Was My Reminder)
Thanks. I've presented her the idea that she take the course with me but she has no interest at this time. We'll see, a few days ago she was dead set against the idea of me on a bike. Baby steps.
Get her on one....that's the best way...but get some miles under your butt before you start toting her around....Bottom line, just buy one and ride it home, what's she going to do? I've found it is always easier to apologize after I do something than to ask permission to do it.......
