Just joined the forum. Never ridden before but will be taking the class at a local HD dealer soon. Just have to get the wife to accept the fact that I want a bike. Any methods of convincing her would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy, welcome to the forum. About the bike thing, the wife knew that I wanted a bike and I just did it without telling her first, besides, I am bigger than she is.
Welcome from Kitchener, Ontario Canada! If you can get her on one a couple of times, I'm sure she will come around. Maybe try renting. Have her read the forums and see how much fun riding can be. Good luck.
Thanks for all the replies and advice. After I take the riding class I will get a free rental from HD and will have to put her *** on it. Well, not right after the class, I'm sure I'll need a little more experience riding to make us both feel comfortable. But I'm not giving up. Also, would a Sportster Custom 1200 be a good starter bike?
