Hey All, been a fan and annymous reader hear for years - popping in and out. Decided it was time to get involved and support this forum ... the information I have garnered through here is well worth the price of admission.. it has saved me at least that much in time, and money. Often when I have had a question, or just trying to validate information, not often or easily obtained from manuals.
Been riding for alot of years and currently own several bikes, have had many others that I have enjoyed and sold, to purchase another. Have been on some sort of scooter for over 45 years, and on the roads legally for 39 of them.
Currently I own a Stock clean and running BSA 441 victor - Shooting Star.. my very first bike purchased with my hard earned cash at the ripe age of 15... couldn't even drive it legally on the road (but did anyway) my first Harley was a '72 XLCH Sportster that I bought in 73. Sold it to a buddy to buy a "wrecked" 75 FXE which I still own and has gone through sereral iterations of the years - from 'rat' to it's current state .. a cross between an early "low rider" and an FL of it's era, floor boards, center dash, hard bags and the full size tanks ... still with a small battery however. It is a screamer and loves to be road hard still to this day. My current ride of choice is my first new of the showroom floor 2009 FLHTCU ... a real mile eater, and in great comfort.
