Hey Everyone,
I'm Keola ... everyone calls me K. I'm in Tacoma, just joined, and have a '93 Dyna Wide Glide.
For the past couple a years it's been intermittently acting like it had a fouled plug. but just for a few minutes and when it was idling, then it wouldn't happen again for a few months.
Recently it's been doing it quite often, and now while I'm going down the road ... coughs, sputters ... so I changed plug wires n plugs. It worked for an hour or so n back to it again.
I mentioned it to a mechanic at one of the local shops here and he said it sounded like my ignition module was going out, but I was reading comments from another post on this site where they said that ignition modules either work or they don't.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
