Well I broke down and bought my first Harley. I purchased an 83 Ironhead sportster. This bike is fun to ride and I was able to pick it up cheap enough that my wife didn't yell.
Since it ran so well I have started to take it apart and fix it up and what a crows nest of mismanagement did I discover, so I expect to ask a lot of questions.
I have been riding for 20 years (That makes me and old fart) and I have been very loyal to my metric cruiser until now.
I work in the swimming pool industry so any questions along that line I am all ears. but as the temp rise here in Sacramento I get very busy and my riding time slows way down.
I have always liked the look of the old sportsters and hope to get this one back up to speed shortly
