Hello Folks... I'm a Fredericksburg Painter ("Fine Artist") and Scientist... ride is 2008 "Murdercycle" [murdered cycle] -- VRSCDXA (Night Rod Special), Rev60 V-Twin (ScreamingEagle) 1250cc, V&H 2-into-1, Airshocks, K&N. -26db Active Noise Suppression build-in (helmet with two sampling mics and 35mm internal Neodynium drivers).
I am anti-chrome, into "functional beauty", and into optimizing performace/speed and am a GM Certified Mechanic (in past life). Into passive/active "LEO Speed Measuring" (RADAR/LIDAR) countermeasures (905nm LIDAR absorbing pigments on faceted RAM composites, etc., electronic countermeasures). Got the bike for that reason really... a "performance art project" in the making. Also into armor/saftey equipment/upgrades and safe riding. Improving my riding skill and technique daily (I ride daily).
I don't speed... much... or on purpose anyway... but I do relish in the challenge of beating the cops at their silly little games through "applied science." My issue... writing tickets from a RADAR unit reading that has so wide a beam angle that they can't pick you out of the crowd and then make assumptions based on "fastest vehicle setting" guesses then giving you a ticket for someone else's misdeed! Just cause you are loud it doesn't mean you are moving fastest! Happens everyday my friend. (daughter got a ticket 38 in a 25 MPH just this last week for stopping at a red light as a fast vehicle passed her! Arggggh!)
