Welcome from Florida! I too am new to the forum and Harley's. I've been riding over 20 yrs and come from sport bikes also. It was time to slow down a bit and start enjoying the ride in more comfort. I had no idea which bike I really wanted so I spent some time here on the forum and talking to the guys I meet at bike nights here localy. I settled on a new 2011 Fat Bob and couldn't be happier. Something in the Dyna line mite fit the bill for you also. Take a few out on test rides or better yet rent a couple for the day so you will have more time with them. That is what I ended up doing. It"s a great way to get a good feel for the different bikes that have cought your eye.My Fat Bob Is more comfotable than the sport bikes that I have come from while handling WAY better than I ever thought it would. It dops into turns quickly, holds it line well and feels planted at all times. I am very impressed not to mention surprised! I do find myself dragging hard parts if I get too agressive though and have to back off just a bit. I t definetly puts a smile on my face and gets the blood pumping. No chicken strips! Use the search function and do some reading. If you still have questions just throw it out there. I have found the group of people here to be very helpfull and friendly. I think you'll enjoy your Harley no matter what you decide on. Ride on!
