I'm a new owner and currently stationed at MCAS Cherry Point in NC. I just bought a new Fat Boy through the Military Overseas Sales, and now I must wait until March when I get back to ride it.
If anyone has any suggestions/recommendations about customizing, please let me know. The weather should just be getting good by the time I get back so I will probably make a few scenic trips around th SE US.

I have owned a 2008 Night Rod special, and the first thing i did was put a 2in1 D&D fat cat exhaust on it coupled with a power commander 5 and a high flow air system. What a huge difference in horse power, not to mention the exhaust sounded demonic. After that i put a sundowner seat and extended reach handlebars on it. The range wasn't great (about 125 miles on a tank) but i could race with the cafe bikes or cruise with my dad. Great bike!
